Behind Your Money turns official UK regulatory data into plain-language company and market evidence. It is an educational information service, not financial advice.
What we publish
Published figures are grounded in official Financial Conduct Authority data. We show the period, reporting scope and material caveats beside the evidence. Consumer brands, regulated legal companies and corporate groups are kept separate because they are not interchangeable.
How editorial decisions are made
Raw regulatory facts are preserved separately from our calculations. Derived figures are labelled, versioned and linked to their inputs. Comparisons are limited to aligned products, definitions, periods and relevant peers. We do not sell ranking positions and do not create an overall company score.
Limitations and corrections
Regulatory publications can be revised, incomplete or difficult to compare. When evidence is ambiguous, the site adds a warning or suppresses the comparison. The FCA source remains authoritative. To report an error, email hello@behindyourmoney.com with the company page, figure, reporting period and supporting source. We review the evidence and update confirmed errors.
